Q：How should brands decide whether to upgrade an existing trolley speaker or develop a completely new model?

A：Brands should decide whether to upgrade an existing trolley speaker or develop a brand‑new model by comprehensively evaluating market demand, customer feedback, hardware limitations of the current chassis, cost‑profit budget, product‑line layout, supply‑chain lead‑time risk and marketing plans. Partial upgrade is preferred when user pain points can be solved with minor improvements, the original plastic housing and internal structure still have optimization space, lower upfront investment, shorter development cycle and stable repeat‑order demands are expected. A completely new model is recommended if revolutionary features, redesigned cabinet structure, higher‑end positioning, new‑market expansion or stronger competitive selling‑points for exhibitions and promotions are required, while brands also need to avoid internal product cannibalization and assess extra mould, certification and sourcing risks before making the final decision.
